Focus: God's provision.
Questions:
1. The people of Israel grumbled against Moses for water, then food, and then even meat. We consider them petty for doing so, but are you grumbling about similar needs?
2. Why do you think God allowed the Israelites to have the need for water and food?

Exodus 21 - 27
Focus: Practical Guidance
Questions:
1. In Exodus 21, God states that if a man accidentally strikes a woman and inflicts injury (of either the woman or the unborn child) that equal repercussions were to be made against the man who committed the act. What does this mean in regards to abortion?
2. God offers many practical solutions for human difficulties. We face these difficulties because of sin in the world. Find a commandment you struggle to understand and try to see it from the perspective of God's goodness. What is the sin that was committed that required such a law to be made?
April 22 - 28
Exodus 28 - 34
Focus: Defilement.
Questions:
1. While God is instructing Moses on Mt. Sinai, the Israelites become anxious and have a golden calf molded so that they may worship it. What was their intention in making the calf? What purpose did the calf serve for them?
2. God's anger burns against Israel for their idolatry. He had delivered them from Egypt and chose them as His people, yet they were turning away from Him by disobedience. God has also made you holy for Him. Are you testing His patience with disobedience? Reflect and repent on any areas in your life that are contrary to God.
