Simply read one chapter of the Bible every day for the week-long period given. Use the questions to reflect on what you've read during the week.

The purpose of this devotional is assist you in your reading by giving you ideas to reflect upon, however, be sure to take notes for yourself and ask questions that are not given here in this devotional.

October 6 - 12
Psalms 83 - 89
Focus: God is Lord of All
Questions:
1. Why does Asaph ask God to put to shame His enemies? Describe a situation where you asked God to do the same in your life.
2. How do the sons of Korah describe God’s presence? Do you desire God’s presence with similar eagerness?

October 20 - 26
Psalm 97 - 103
Focus: God is Worthy
Questions:
1. Serving graven images is an evil and shameful practice. Why do you think people practice such things? Reading the description of God’s power, can a mere idol even compare? (Psalm 97)
2. God does not despise the prayer of the destitute and He hears the prayers of those in distress. These same people should testify of God’s response. When has God answered your prayer? Have you given praise to God by telling others? (Psalm 102)

October 13 - 19
Psalm 90 - 96
Focus: God is Everlasting
Questions:
1. Moses directly contrasts the temporary life of man and God’s eternity. What does Moses ask of God after declaring these truths?
2. The Psalm for the Sabbath day declares God’s goodness. What evidence does the writer give of His goodness?

October 27 - November 2
Psalm 104 - 110
Focus: God our Creator
Questions:
1. Compare Psalm 104 with the first two chapters of Genesis, then describe in your own words how God takes care of His creation.
2. Describe in your own words how God cares for mankind even when they are rebellious. (Psalm 106 – 107)
