The purpose of this devotional is assist you in your reading by giving you ideas to reflect upon, however, be sure to take notes for yourself and ask questions that are not given here in this devotional.

1. How is the person blessed who fears the Lord?
2. Why is humility a characteristic that God delights in?

Focus: The Works of the Lord
Questions:
1. Describe some of the works of the Lord as mentioned in the reading for this week. How have you seen God work in your own life?
2. God saves His people and He opposes those that do evil. How do the writers of the Psalms describe the way God is towards those that do good? How about those who do evil?

1. Why do the Psalm writers praise the Lord? What reasons can you think of for praising the Lord?
2. What kinds of things do they say when they praise God? How does this compare to how you praise God?
